Tasty and Easy Mango Puri Recipe

Want to try something new and innovative recipe with mangoes? Then try mango puri which is very easy and tasty. This puri has a unique flavor of mangoes and also has a nice sweet taste. This puri will be a hit at any parties and also a wonderful twist to plain puri. Try this interesting puri recipe in your home and enjoy it with your family members.

Preparation Time: 10 min; Cooking Time: 25 min;


- 3/4 cup mango cubes
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup plain flour (maida)
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
- 1/4 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep-frying
- Plain flour (maida) for rolling


1. In a blender, add the mango cubes and powdered sugar in a mixer and blend till smooth and then transfer it in a bowl.
2. Then add plain flour, wheat flour, cardamom powder, salt and mix it well and knead into a soft dough.
3. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each portion of the dough into a 100 mm. (4”) diameter circle.
4. Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan and deep-fry, a few puris at a time on a medium flame, till they turn golden brown in color from all the sides.
5. Drain on an absorbent paper and serve it hot and enjoy it with your family members.
