Central Texas police has arrested an inebriated 22-year-old man for getting drunk and knocking on the doors of strangers and demanding he be let in to sleep.
Zakry Ernest Zapata was put in the Brazos County jail on Monday. He has been booked for public intoxication and making terror threat, causing fear of serious bodily injury.
The Corpus Christi man was detained from Bryan neighborhood Saturday. He had apparently threatened to get a gun and harm the residents of a home if they refused to let him sleep in.
Authorities say Zapata was threatening another neighbor when police arrived. Arresting officers found no weapon.
