Nandamuri Balakrishna will be seen in a dual role in his next film Akhanda which is directed by Boyapati Srinu. The shoot of the film was completed recently and Akhanda will hit the screens in October. Balayya signed a mass entertainer in the direction of Gopichand Malineni and the film is inspired by several real life incidents. The entire script of the film is locked and Balakrishna gave his final nod recently. The shoot of Gopichand Malineni's film will commence from October 1st in Hyderabad in a special set.

Balayya plays the role of a faction leader in this untitled film and his look is designed. The heroine is yet to be finalized and Vijay Sethupathi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar plays an important role in this untitled action entertainer. The film is planned on a big-budget and Mythri Movie Makers are on the board to bankroll the project. Thaman is the music director and the technicians are finalized currently. The movie will hit the screens in summer next year.
